Downloading the Book as a Digital File  NB these digital versions of the book cannot be printed.  The book is available from this website for $17.00 NZD as an Adobe .pdf file or as an MS Word .docx file.  Just click on the appropriate icon to add the book to your shopping cart.

Downloading the E-book  To download the book as an E-Book, click the "Click Here" button and you will be taken to the Smashwords website where you can buy the book for $12.00 USD as a standard .epub file.

On a laptop or PC this standard .epub version of the e-book can be read most easily (but not printed) by downloading the free Adobe Digital Editions app from

For Apple iPad/iPhone/Mac, download the free Apple Books app from the iTunes app store, or consider other great free apps such as Bluefire or FB Reader (all available in the Apple App store).  For Android devices, download Aldiko, a free e-reading app.

To read the e-book using Kindle for PC or Kindle for Mac, you need the .mobi version of the e-book file, or you can just use FBReader from https://fbreader.org/ or from the Apple App store.

Once you have the necessary app for reading the e-book file in the version you have chosen, from the Smashwords Library click to the book you want to download, then click to download the appropriate file format.  Your web browser should ask you if you want to use the app to read immediately, or if you want to download the book to your computer.

Payment Options  Select the "Pay Now" button.  You will see a "Check out with PayPal" button and a grey "Checkout" button. The PayPal button takes you to the PayPal site to complete purchase, but the "Checkout" button gives three payment options. Select to pay by "Credit/debit card", by "PayPal", or by "Manual Payment." This last option enables payment directly into my NZ bank account.
